There is a dog park in this park that I take my schnauzer too, he really enjoys it there most of the time. The only problem is the burrs, especially in the fall when they are dry. This past year the city tried to remove the burrs, so they were cut back a lot which made the park more enjoyable. Before that if your dog had a coat like mine does, burr city.

Great icefishing off it in winter and great sports fields in summer. Not a lot of parking. Come early if going to game. Right near lake, chilly at night
